Editorial : About the Author Dr. Lois Nightingale, Clinical Psychologist and licensed Marriage, Family and Child Therapist, is director of the Nightingale Counseling Center Yorba Linda, California. She is the mother of two children as well as an author, popular national speaker and storyteller. Dr. Nightingale was the director of the New Mothers Counseling Center from 1990 to 1993, and pioneered an inpatient hospital program to treat new mothers experiencing Postpartum Depression without separating them from their babies. She has taken a special interst in helping new mothers adjust to motherhood and bring peace into their homes.
