For an entire book on the latter read the very recommendable Women Who Become Men: Albanian Sworn Virgins (Dress, Body, Culture). My wife and I did not know what to do for her. I don't entirely agree with
the author's ratings, but his reasons are always thoughtful.
Though he gives the artist(s) for each story, he does not comment
on the artwork, except occasionally on the layout. Now I'll have to spend more on a real book. The mating pull is undeniable. I started Pillars of the Earth, and a few other books that held absolutely on appeal. [[VIDEOID:be4b9bdad97b5407d5b03f7c0c01672e]]Was this a joke? It has - maybe - 20 pages (btw, there are no page numbers in the book) each "comprehensive" item in this guide is a short paragraph at most. I learned to make these fittings in sheet metal school 30 years ago with a similar book maybe by the same author. There are a good number of color pictures. I loved it! It was so great, and even though it was short, it was very fun to read
