Editorial : "May be the definitive account of the days and hours leading up to the first nuclear explosion in history and the legacy it left. He vividly reconstructs the story: the industrious atmosphere of the scientists and technicians; the grave considerations of those making key decisions; the sense of wonder, and twinges of conscience, at what had been achieved."

"A thorough and well-written history of the Trinity Site nuclear explosion, the culmination of the work of the longhairs of Los Alamos a flawless and fascinating read, the definitive book on the subject."

"This tightly focused, lucidly written and thoroughly researched bookdescribes the events, personalities and scientific processes that led to the detonation of the first atomic bomb in an isolated stretch of New Mexican desert. Mr. Szasz provides fascinating details. The Day the Sun Rose Twice is concise and cogent, a valuable introduction to how our nuclear dilemma began."

Think of it! For forty-two years Arna Bontemps and Langston Hughes wrote letters to each other---literally thousands of letters. They are so well written that I can see Humphrey doing all the things that Betty has him doing. The cue and reward must be the same. Hutchinson has a way with words.
2. I found the material really interesting and the chapter questions helpful to make sure you understand the key factors of the section.. This book was easy to read and easy to apply. I highly recommend this book to anybody wishing to end their addiction once and for all.. Dawson's compound complex sentences abound. Folks, my disappointment with this book was so huge, that I found my voice. Dean Koontz's 77 SHADOW STREET is not an easy book to describe. The book is full of info on the development of each US anti-tank gun used during WWII (as well as experimental designs), the doctrine that it was designed around, and how well it served in combat. He doesn't have the personal magnetism of a B
