It contains both amusing anecdotes and sobering analyses. Cons: conflicts are juvenile, adults are in the Harry Potter class (ie either stupid and vile or "wise mentors" or detached from reality ). The dictionary is very good for it's medical content - but it's not that easy to use it on the kindle - there's no lookup - search - function.. He's handsome and strong and brave and aristocratic--nothing unusual in that! But he's on the guileless, reckless, heedless side and is perhaps a bit lazy and too easy-going to bother to live up to his background and education. It answered all kinds fo questions I'd had, and I completely understand how it all came to be, and moreso, how lucky we all were to have it around for so long.
If there should be a ulogy to the Southern/NS steam program, it should be read from THIS book!. He is more into Peter Singer than Tom Regan, while mentioning both. It would be a good book to have on hand for small children. Vessey has a way with words, whethe
