Pros: an interesting and well constructed world. Loved Elder Blue and Rya's brother Garrick. I loved the fact that this book, that I was required to get for school, was available online with an immediate download and it was for rent! That cut the cost significantly. It is a good product for most research projects requiring a journal.. Being real with yourself is the key to getting the most out of this bookand your sobriety. No plans on reading the second book, and I'd like to write this off as just *me* not being able to appreciate a Patrick Rothfuss - much like I'm not able to appreciate a Claude Monet - than a criticism of an accomplished writer's work.
Perhaps someday but I'm still as hungry for good voracious reading as when I finished A Song of Ice and Fire Series.. Following on the heels of that tale is "McDuff on the Mound", by Robert Coover, wherein we see the story of Casey at the Bat from the viewpoint of the pitcher in that poem.
