The last section of the chapter discusses the rational homotopy theory of Sullivan as applied to differentiable manifolds. I realize there does not need to be, it's just my personal preference.
So why the 3 stars if I disliked it so much? Well, it held my attention, it was a great first novel for any writer, and if for nothing else other than the hope of a satisfying novel, I finished it and I am glad I exposed myself to a new author. I anticipate hearing from this young man in the future.. The book "Mind what you wear" by Professor Karen J Pine details it.
