I have wished that the old comics were still available for childrenand here they were : ). I would highly recommend them for any family faced with the challenges of Postpartum Depression.. Though they don't feel fictional at all and again, I want more! I would love to go through the seasons with Sandy and her wonderful diverse crew for many of their post apocalyptic years!. If you want to learn as much as you can about the end times as foretold in the Bible, this is the book to get!. The house itself, once called Belle Vista and now the Pendleton, happens to have been constructed on something Koontz calls a "space-time trapdoor," which opens every 38 years to suck in the hapless people unlucky enough to be in the vicinity. This is NOT a book that requires your little one to play "I spy" or to hunt for letters. Not worth purchasing. Squeaktastic!
