This was a total waste of my time to read, and will be for anyone but the most novice reader.. As an Addiction Counselor and licensed therapist, I would definitely recommend this book to my clients and use the activities during therapy sessions to promote understanding and healing from the disease of addiction.. This is an important topic in Sure Step and has a very practical approach. When my snoring would wake me yet again, I'd have to check my notes before I could remember who occupied which apartment. Although there's a lot of life detail, there's never too much; just when it might get boring, the author deftly moves on to other things, so you get a rich impression of the daily lives of the characters without it becoming mundane. I laud his conception. The author painstakingly discusses Bowlby, Ainsworth, Spitz and other attachment theorists, providing the essential facts of affective and attachment development, and then in a very clear, understandable way, provides the neuroanatom
