The reasons I love it: it's hardcover so even after having it roll around in my purse for a year it still looks great, there is a ribbon that you use as a bookmark, the elastic rubber band to keep it closed (because I do stuff in different receipts and paperwork so it keeps that all in), and the pocket at the back to keep papers that I want with me at all times.. Arrived in good time. An updated version would be quite good.
Supplement this book with web searches to make sure you don't miss a new, important landmark.. Instead, I got a very limited discussion of a very limited number of Roman pieces, with lots of construction tips and instructions. If you are a complete beginner , the explanations & pictures are not clear enough to make you feel comfortable.
The descriptions are not clear & there is a need for a lot more & a lot clearer batch of pictures.
